Pride 2009
OVER THE RAINBOW - June 26 and 27, 2009 at the Lakeshore Theater

On June 27, 1969, five days after her death, a memorial was held for Judy Garland in New York City. Afterwards, a group of mourners gathered at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. In the early morning hours, the police raided the bar and the patrons fought back. And our world has never been the same. In what is sure to be a memorable performance, CGMC honors the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and the legend that is Judy Garland.

And what's more Gay-American than low-carb apple pie featuring plump, juicy fruit in an exquisitely flaky crust? 2008 is an election year, and CGMC is rolling out the bunting and firing up the sparklers in a tribute to everything that makes America great. We'll bring you patriotic songs, flaming baton twirlers and notable moments in American history from our own unique perspective. Look for appearances by Betsy Ross, the suffragettes, great American inventors and the wholesome mothers who keep America's stomachs filled with a steady diet of delicious apple pie.
