Patrick Sinozich was born in West Virginia, grew up in Ohio (with no shoes), sailed downriver to Cincinnati to pick up a degree in music from the Conservatory (after buying a pair of shoes), drove up I-75 to Detroit to become a monk for five years (gave up the shoes), later took I-94 to Chicago to set up shop as an accompanist while stealing a master's degree from Northwestern University (got better shoes), was heard and hired to accompany the Chicago Symphony Chorus for 11 years (black patent leather shoes), found his way onto the podium directing the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus since 1997 (frequently losing his shoes under someone's bed), and was just appointed Music Director of chicagoacappella (velvet slippers now). He has performed throughout the US and Europe, written and arranged over 200 choral and instrumental works, written three original musicals, recently composed his first film score, produced three CDs for CGMC and two for chicagoacappella (with a third currently in production) and continues to serve on the musical staffs of the CSC and the Grant Park Music Festival.

  Arnie Cuarenta
General Manager

Since playing Marryin’ Sam in his high school production of Lil’ Abner Arnie has always loved being on stage. Taking every chance to perform while still working in the corporate world, Arnie joined the chorus in 2001 and quickly fell in love with the organization. He has served on the chorus’ board of directors, chairing the membership committee for two years. Arnie is very excited to bring his 15 years of sales management and training experience to CGMC in the role of General Manager.
