My Kind of Town

CGMC’s Spring 2016 production centered on our favorite queen bee…Chicago! We painted the town in rainbow colors in this tuneful tribute. Three sailors on shore leave discovered why Chicago is the kind of city for anyone by exploring all that it has to offer. This Toddlin’ Town experience whipped audiences across musical genres spanning from Madrigal to Motown; with music from Bessie Smith, Goldrich and Heisler, Louis Armstrong and many more.
