Join current and former Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus members in celebrating CGMC’s 30th Anniversary. Renew chorus friendships and make new ones. Partners are welcome.

Friday Cocktails: 6/21, 7:30 PM

Kick off the weekend with a casual evening of cocktails with 30 years of CGMC alums.

Saturday Reunion Sing: 6/22

Gather together and do what we do best - singing, chatting and eating! We will be performing at PrideFest, an annual 2-day LGBT street fair taking place the weekend before Gay Pride Day and celebrates our community. Join us for a pre-performance lunch and rehearsal at Lakeview Presbyterian Church (corner of Addison and Broadway) in Lakeview (Boystown). Afterwards we’ll walk to Halsted and 30 years of CGMC will take the stage for a memorable performance. Chorus alum will join the Chorus to sing selected music. You can sing with the chorus or cheer from the sideline. To sing at Pridefest; rehearsal recordings in mp3 format and sheet music in PDF form will be sent to you in advance. Sandwiches may be preordered for lunch for only $10 at registration.

Saturday Divas Dinner: 6/22

Dine Out with CGMC! You and your friends can gather at one of several local area restaurants who will set aside a number of tables for the chorus. We’ll let you know as the restaurants are finalized.

Sunday LOVE Brunch: 6/23 12 Noon Sidetrack

Join us for this no miss event - hosted by Art and Pepe at Sidetrack - as we take the time to share and reflect upon the past 30 years of music, friendships, community involvement, activism and all the love that is CGMC. Bring your photos, memorabilia, sequin vests, white dinner jackets, or?? as we look back and remember the rich history that has made CGMC such a valued institution in Chicago and beyond. We’ll honor and remember those we have lost and celebrate the chorus. It’s all about sharing the love at the CGMC 30^th Anniversary Sunday LOVE Brunch.

Gay Pride Parade: 6/30

Are you still in town for Gay Pride Day? March with CGMC in Chicago’s 44th Annual Gay Pride Parade. Chicago’s parade has grown to over 850,000 people celebrating along the parade route. (Note: The parade route has changed to accommodate the growth and now kicks off at Montrose and Broadway).

In the past 30 years, over 1,200 men (and women) have sung with CMGC. Unfortunately, we’ve lost touch with some of them. Help us get in contact with CGMC alums by sharing this information with them and providing their contact information to us.
