CGMC Announces its 29th Season

Christmas Follies

On stage December 3 and 4, 2010 at the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago and December 5, 2010 at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook

Join CGMC for its annual mirthful, merry, carolin’ holiday celebration.

Don your gay apparel and come out for a laugh-filled romp through holiday music as you’ve never heard it. You’ll hear traditional tunes like Happy Holidays and The Bells of Christmas plus new smashes like The Christmas Can-Can and Wishing You a Drag Queen Christmas. Plus, you’ll hear CGMC unplugged. That’s right, we’re tossing the microphones and singing au natural!

Come celebrate this community tradition. We’ll put joy in your heart and a smile on your face!

DIVAS!

On stage May 20 and 21, 2011 at the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago and May 22, 2011 at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook

The songs that make us weep, the hits that make us move. I Will Survive, Fever, Lady Marmalade, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Divas! is a fabulous ode to over forty female superstars and the music they made famous. From Edith Piaf to Ethel Merman, Dolly Parton to Donna Summer, Judy, Ella, Tina, Bette and more! Divas! showcases CGMC singing and dancing the most memorable female hits of all time!
